Louisville City Council Meeting <br />March 16, 2004 <br />Page 5 of 10 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Finance Director Patty Leslie reviewed a revised version of Resolution No. 16, Series <br />2004, which authorizes a supplemental appropriation to the 2004 budget for the <br />Northwest Parkway Fund, the Water Utility Fund, and the Capital Improvements Fund. <br />The total appropriations are as follows: <br /> <br />· Northwest Parkway Fund <br />· Water Utility Fund <br />· Capital Improvement Fund <br /> <br />$ 9,581,287 <br /> 5,989,678 <br /> 2,592,333 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk called for public comments. <br /> <br />Ken DeVilbiss asked where the 2003 funds are being held. Finance Director Leslie <br />explained the funds were appropriated in 2003, however in many large capital projects, <br />the projects are not completed in that year and the funds are carded over to the next year. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Council member Keany explained the funds are in an account ready to be spent this year <br />on the completion of capital projects. He noted the amount of funds available in the 2004 <br />budget for capital projects is over $42 million dollars. <br /> <br />Council member Brown inquired as to the status of the Northwest Parkway Project 12 <br />million dollar fund. Public Works Director Tom Phare explained approximately $75,000 <br />of the contingency money has been utilized, with the bulk of the 12 million dollars <br />remaining in the fund unallocated. He stated at this time, additional work or projects has <br />not been identified. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk explained the Finance Committee has asked Staff for a breakdown on a <br />number of capital projects. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved for approval of Resolution No. 16, Series <br />2004, as revised, seconded by Council member Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The <br />motion passed by a vote of 6-0. Absent: Council member Levihn. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17, SERIES 2004 - A RESOLUTION FINDING <br />SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE FOR AN ANNEXATION PETITION FILED <br />WITH THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, KNOWN AS THE SAVAGE <br />ANNEXATION, AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Ken Johnstone reviewed that Resolution No. 17, Series 2004, finds <br />substantial compliance for the Savage Annexation.
