The City
along with Marjorie Nell and Earl D. Pickett and the Dorothy B. Pickett Revocable Trust,
initiated an annexation petition. All parcels are located within the City of Louisville
boundaries. The Picket parcels are located along West Spruce Street and are adjacent to
the Louisville Height Subdivision to the east, the city-owned property is located to the
north of the Pickett parcels, adjacent to the McKinley Park and Parkwood subdivisions.
The City completed a Subdivision Exemption with the Boulder County Planning
Department and Board of County Commissioners in conjunction with the Pickett's in
June of 2003, which allow for the purchase of Parcel B1 and C1 to be completed and sold
to the City. The parties entered into an agreement to zone the parcels SF-E (Single-
Family Estate). The Pickett's are not required to make any public use or open space
dedication in connection with the zoning of Parcels B and C.
