Max Scott, 2902 5th St. Mr. Scott stated that he works for Oedipus, '=Boulder In<:. which is a survey firm and was hired to do a survey on Annie Rae's liquor license. (Councilmembers had copies of 5 packets of pei~itions of the survey to show need for thc~ liquor license). Mr. Scott distributed to Councilmembers information explaining how the survey was taken and a tabulation of the results. He stated that his company had done 1200-1500 surveys for licenses throughout the State over the last 15 years. Mr. Scott then explained each page of the mai;erial provided to Councilmembers. Ma~~or Meier continued the public hearing and asked if there were any public comments in favor or in opposition to the issuance of the liquor license. .None. Council questions and comments. Councilwoman Morris Inquired of Ms. Grace if she was planning No Smoking Section to have a "No Smoking" section in her rest- aurant? She replied that the section would be small; but yes she did plan to have one. Meier Mayor/closed the public hearing. APPROVAL Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded that Annie Rae's - An American Eatery be granted a liquor license. Roll call vote: 'Woodson Yes Johnson Yes Luce Yes Leary Yes Morris Yes Meier Yes Cussen Yes Motion carried unanimously 7-0. TEEN JOB BANK - FUNDING Councilmembers had a copy of the letter REQUEST requesting funding, and a memo from Director Asti-Caranci giving the status of the budget funding for such requests.
