MORRIS: How do you plan on controlling that area as far as people getting in or leaving and <br /> taking alcohol with them? <br /> <br />CHENG: The patio will have a fence around the area so when customers come in and out <br /> they must go in and out through the main restaurant entrance. <br /> <br /> Morris called for any other Authority questions. <br /> <br />KIMMETT: The manager's registration form indicates that Mr. Cheng has not managed a liquor <br /> establishment before, what about the one in Boulder? <br /> <br />CItENG: My wife was the designated manager at BoBo China Restaurant. I was <br /> applicant/owner, my wife was manager. <br /> <br />MORRIS: Is there any interested party in the audience who wishes to speak in favor of the <br /> application? <br /> <br /> Would you please step forward and give your name, address, and take the oath. <br /> <br /> Applicant attorney requested to present parties in support of the application for Cheng's Garden <br /> liquor license. <br /> <br />WITNESSES: (names and addresses were inaudible) <br /> <br />SECRETARY: Do you solemnly swear or affirm under penalty of perjury that the testimony you <br /> are about to give will be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? <br /> <br />WITNESSES: We do. <br /> <br /> Stonbacker questioned each of the witnesses regarding their residency, age, and why they felt this <br /> license would benefit the neighborhood. All witnesses were in favor of the issuance of a <br /> restaurant license to the applicant. <br /> <br />MORRIS: Is there any interested party in the audience who wishes to speak in opposition to <br /> the application? <br /> <br /> None noted. <br /> <br /> Does the applicant have any closing remarks? <br /> <br />APPLICANT <br />ATTORNEY: <br /> <br />blORRIS: <br /> <br />The applicant has invested a great deal of money in this business. He is not just <br />leasing an building or space, he has bought the land and is having a building <br />constructed on that land. <br /> <br />I will now close the public hearing. I am in need ora motion to grant or deny the <br />application. <br /> <br /> <br />
