She felt that alcohol training is necessary for all employees serving alcohol. <br /> <br />Public Heating - New Liquor License Application - Thrifty Payless, Inc., d/b/a Rite Aid <br />#6204 Louisville, 3.2% Beer (OffPremises) Liquor License - 525 McCaslin Blvd. <br /> <br />Chairman Jeffers opened the public hearing on the application of Thrifty Payless Inc., d/b/a Rite Aid <br />#6204, Louisville, 3.2% Beer (OffPremises) Liquor License - 525 McCaslin Blvd., Louisville. <br /> <br />The Secretary commented that the application is for a license to sell 3.2% Beer for off premises <br />consumption. Copies of the application have been provided to each Authority member. The application is <br />complete, and fingerprint reports are already on file with state. Public notice of this heating has been <br />posted and published in accordance with state law. The Secretary stated she was not aware of any reason <br />that would require the Authority to deny the application. <br /> <br />The Authority previously set the boundaries of the neighborhood for the license as the current boundaries <br />of the City of Louisville. Chairperson Jeffers asked if anyone present objected to the boundaries of the <br />neighborhood being the current boundaries of the City of Louisville. Being none, the Authority <br />proceeded with the public hearing. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light added, for the record, one additional item, submitted by the applicant this <br />evening. There is a revised attachment, updated December, 1998, listing prior violations for Thfifby <br />Payless outlets in Colorado. Light asked that item be made a part of the record. <br /> <br />Attorney for the applicant, John Stonbraker, Dill Dill Carr Stonbraker & Hutchings, P.C., stated that he <br />had two witnesses, Mr. Scott, and Mr. Pfeiffer, who will testify on behalf of this application. <br /> <br />Mr. Max Scott identified himself and was sworn in by the Authority Secretary. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
