Pioneer Award: <br />A. Update on presentation of 2020 award to take place at Chamber of <br />Commerce event in 2021: The recipient for the 2020 award has been <br />notified, but the Chamber event was canceled until 2021. The <br />Commission decided to still move ahead and have a 2021 recipient for <br />the Pioneer Award and present both winners at next year's event. <br />B. Selection of Pioneer Award subcommittee of two Commission <br />members (the subcommittee will seek and review nominations for <br />the award to be given in 2021) (continued from the last meeting): <br />Paula and Jonathan will be on the subcommittee. <br />C. Timeline and process for selecting 2021 award recipient: <br />The Commission reviewed the timeline for the selection process and <br />decided to discuss the selection at the November meeting, and make the <br />final selection at the January meeting. <br />XIV. Items of common interest with the Historic Preservation Commission: <br />A. Report from HC liaison to HPC: No Report <br />XV. Louisville History Foundation update: The Foundation is continuing to work <br />on promoting awareness for the Museum and doing some forms of fundraising, <br />while in the situation of being unable to continue in -person events and some of <br />the fundraising they usually do. <br />XVI. Commission comments & discussion items for next meeting (Nov. 18): <br />None <br />XVII. Close meeting & adjourn: The LHC meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
