The Historic <br />Preservation Commission (HPC) approved an alteration certificate for a new addition at <br />the rear of the home and also recommend approval of the grant. <br />Bauer reviewed the work to be completed noting which items are for preservation, are <br />rehabilitation, or restoration. Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and <br />asked for disclosures. Councilmember Dickinson stated he lives three houses away from <br />this property; he recused himself and left the meeting. <br />Director Zuccaro reviewed the site and history of this house, a former church, noting this <br />is a request for landmarking and a preservation grant. He reviewed the proposed exterior <br />changes which would restore the original building, demolish the midcentury addition, and <br />add a new addition at the rear of the property.
