SUBJECT: <br />UNDERPASS DISCUSSION <br />DATE: <br />JUNE 17, 2021 <br />PAGE2OF2 <br />If City Council chooses to move forward in some form, staff will propose contract <br />amendments for City Council to consider on July 13 to keep designs moving forward <br />towards bidding targets of late 2022/early 2023. <br />PROGRAM/SUB-PROGRAM IMPACT: The transportation improvements support the <br />City's Transportation goal to maintain a safe, well -maintained, effective and efficient <br />multi -modal transportation system at a reasonable cost. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Specific direction is required on the number of underpasses to <br />move forward for financing and construction, dollar amount for those transportation <br />improvements, prioritization of underpass construction and preferences regarding <br />potential ballot language for financing any gaps in City and/or LRC funds. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
