GROUND PLAN SKETCH <br />I MHOICAMIL HYYA[II PTORIIR� <br />According to the current owner, who is a Ross granddaughter, new flooring was put down in <br />the 1940s, and her grandparents updated and modernized the house in the 1950s. The changes <br />included covering the original wood siding with new siding. They changed the windows and <br />lowered the ceiling in all of the rooms except the kitchen. They added a laundry room, <br />bathroom, and closet to the back of the house, and part of the bedroom was used to create a <br />hallway. The original wood porch was replaced with a cement porch and new posts. <br />The following image is an excerpt from a 1962 aerial photo of Louisville. This is a view looking <br />east, and it shows the rear and top of the house at 829 Lincoln. <br />7 <br />
