Concept papers are reviewed by GOCO staff and a select number of projects are <br />then invited to submit full grant applications. Staff will provide additional updates as new <br />information becomes available. $500,000 in grant funding was requested. <br />Staff is meeting with staff members from Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) regarding two other <br />grant opportunities for this project. Based on feedback from CPW staff we will likely be submitting <br />additional grant requests for the CPW non -motorized grant as well as the Land and Water <br />Conservation Fund grant. <br />These grants are an attempt to help close the anticipated funding gap due to increased cost <br />estimates for the trail construction. <br />7. Save the date: Thursday, October 21 at 7:00pm. Joint meeting with Boulder County and Lafayette <br />to review and comment on the Draft Mayhoffer Management Plan. <br />8. The Colorado Open Space Alliance Conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Vail on <br />October 11-13. The Conference is titled "Expect the Unexpected: Build Resilience to Adapt to <br />Change". To register: https://coloradoopenspace.org/registration/ <br />9. OSAB Member Applications will be available in October with a deadline of November 8, 2021. <br />According to our records, the following member terms will be ending Helen Moshak, Jessamine <br />Fitzpatrick, and David Blankinship. <br />10.
