<br />11/15/83 <br /> <br />Page -4- <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised he had discussed <br />this with them and they stated that if they <br />had the choice they would prefer December <br />6, 1983. But that is certainly not up to <br />the applicant. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />Commented based on the inforamtion presented <br />in the letter, it was his feeling that the <br />information was not adequate to state our <br />intent because they did not specifically <br />state what their operation would be. <br />Rautenstraus advised that they would be appear- <br />ing and make a presentation supplying addi- <br />tional information beforehand. <br />Councilman Leary inquired if anyone knew what <br />they are planning to build. <br />Rautenstraus stated it was an existing business <br />located in Broomfield. <br />Administrator Wurl commented that he knew <br />that they had been in business for some time, <br />used to be located in Boulder and distributed <br />copy machines. <br /> <br />Motion To Have Public <br />Hearing on December 20, <br />33 <br /> <br />Mayor Meier moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded <br />that if the date of December 20, 1983 for <br />the public hearing is not deterimental to <br />Coloraoo Copiers, Inc. financing, it be held <br />on this date to provide councilmembers with <br />additional information. If December 20th <br />should prove a problem, then the public hearing <br />will be set for December 6, 1983. Attorney <br />Rautenstraus to contact the applicant and <br />public notice published for the preferred <br />date. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #814 - MAJOR <br />THOROUGHFARE FUND <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />and the request was for publication. <br />The Major Thoroughfare fee was increased from <br />$800 per unit to $1,200 per unit. <br /> <br />PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED <br />AND PUBLIC HEARING SET <br /> <br />Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cummings <br />seconded that Ordinance #814 - Major Thorough- <br />fare Fund be published and a public hearing <br />set for December 20, 1983. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />.lncilman Leary <br /> <br />Commented if council should decide in the <br />Homart negotiations to raise this fee again, <br />
