The
land was annexed in Lafayette because of the
utility question and they have~worked:coriscientiously
with the Task Force and was an excellent ex-
perience hopefully not only for the partici-
pants but for the hospital as well. Coming
from the Task Force have been several trans-
portation schemes for the aged in the com-
munity whereby they would be picked up at
no cost, subsidized by the hospital through
a separate corporation and would be taken
to medical care facilities, not only theirs
but others. Their facility will include some
major conference space that will be open for
any institutions or agencies in both communi-
ties. They have also tied in with the cable
people and their people and those of the
community will be able to participate in
a Health Program. They did not wish to play
the role of competitor in the area.

Councilmembers had a copy of the estimate
as well as recommendation from the Public
Works Department to authorize payment.

Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris
seconded that pay estimate #3 to Site Systems
Inc. in the amount of $103,320.72 be approved.
Question called for. All in favor. Motion
carried unanimously.

Councilmembers had a copy of the bid tabulation
and recommendation from Director of Public
Works Kasch for this project.

Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera
seconded that the bid be awarded to Hall-
Irwin Construction of Greeley for the
Main Street water line in the amount of
$223,293.99.

Inquired what Phase II included.
Administrator Wurl advised from pine south
to the extreme south end of Main St. and
from Griffith St. to South St.
