Question called for. All in favor.
Motion carried unanimously.

Bob Ross, rep~esenting the American Legion,
requested permission of Council to use Hiner's
Field for their annual fireworks display on
July 4th commencing 9:10 P.M. The theme of
display will be "Salute to America." A pre-
show is being planned consisting of a canine
show by the Denver Police Dept. and a drum
and bugle corps band. The U.S. Dept. of
Tabacco and Firearms has approved the new
mortars that will be fired by the Louisville
Fire District. The mortars consist of heavy
cardboard. They also have the insurance policy
to cover any liabilities. He further explained
the carboard mortars produce a better velocity.

Permission granted by council to the American
Legion for July 4th fireworks display at
Miners Field.

Councilmembers had copies of the proposed
transfer and all necessary information.
Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the appli-
cation was in order and was a request for transfer
of-Owne~Hlip-. -theref.Qre :the_only:ma.tter--th~ council
would be required to review would be the fit-
ness of the applicants.

One of the owners representing the White Front,
formerly Waldo's, stated they intended to
clean up the inside and outside of the present
establishment and try to get rid of some of
that undesirable clientele. Felt this was a
good reason for approval of their application.

Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera
seconded that the White Front Liquor License
Transfer of ownership be granted. Question
called for. All in favor. Motion carried
unanimously.
