MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION LOUISVILLE HEALTH FAIR WEEK MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION LOUISVILLE HISTORICAL MONTH MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION NATIONAL PATRIOTISM WEEK JICINSKY CONTRUCTION - PAY ESTIMATE #2 - COMMUNITY BLDG. APPROVAL 2/15/83 Page -3- Representative Hume stated he did not know what form the Bill was in at present or where it is in process. When it comes before the House he would take a close look at it - generally speaking he felt that the initiative process was a good one right now. However, election laws are subject to yearly change in the legislature usually fine tuning; if this is other than that would review it closely and get back to Councilman Leary. Mayor Meier thanked Representative Hume for being present. Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- tion and Mayor Meier read it in its entirety. Chairwoman Caranci accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Louisville Historical Commission and advised at their next meeting of March 9, 1983 a movie would be shown of World War II servicemen. The Civil Defense organization took movies of all the men who came home from the service at that time. Would appreciate Council's help in advising some of the old timers to view the movie and identify these men. On March 13, 1983 the public is invited to an open house at the Community Building from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Slides of the Centennial will be shown and stories that were told by the people of the City will be presented at the open house function. Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- tion and Mayor Meier read it in its entirety. Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate and recommendation from Director Hioco to authorize payment. Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera seconded that pay estimate #2 in the amount of $4,500.00 to Jicinsky Construction Co. be authorized for payment. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
