<br />MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION <br />LOUISVILLE HEALTH FAIR WEEK <br /> <br />MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION <br />LOUISVILLE HISTORICAL MONTH <br /> <br />MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION <br />NATIONAL PATRIOTISM WEEK <br /> <br />JICINSKY CONTRUCTION - PAY <br />ESTIMATE #2 - COMMUNITY BLDG. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />2/15/83 <br /> <br />Page -3- <br /> <br />Representative Hume stated he did not <br />know what form the Bill was in at present <br />or where it is in process. When it comes <br />before the House he would take a close look <br />at it - generally speaking he felt that the <br />initiative process was a good one right now. <br />However, election laws are subject to yearly <br />change in the legislature usually fine tuning; <br />if this is other than that would review it <br />closely and get back to Councilman Leary. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier thanked Representative Hume for <br />being present. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- <br />tion and Mayor Meier read it in its entirety. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- <br />tion and Mayor Heier read it in its entirety. <br />Chairwoman Caranci accepted the proclamation <br />on behalf of the Louisville Historical <br />Commission and advised at their next meeting <br />of March 9, 1983 a movie would be shown of <br />World War II servicemen. The Civil Defense <br />organization took movies of all the men <br />who came home from the service at that time. <br />Would appreciate Council's help in advising <br />some of the old timers to view the movie and <br />identify these men. On March 13, 1983 the <br />public is invited to an open house at the <br />Community Building from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. <br />Slides of the Centennial will be shown and <br />stories that were told by the people of the <br />City will be presented at the open house <br />function. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- <br />tion and Mayor Meier read it in its entirety. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate <br />and recommendation from Director Hioco to <br />authorize payment. <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that pay estimate #2 in the amount <br />of $4,500.00 to Jicinsky Construction Co. <br />be authorized for payment. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
