RESOLUTION #3 - AMEND 1983 BUDGET - PARKS AND REC. ASSESSMENT FEE ADOPTION Councilman Leary ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT POLICE CAR AQUISITION AUTHORIZATION FOR STATE BID 2/1/83 Page -4- Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution in its entirety and councilmembers had a copy of it. Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Ferrera seconded that Resolution #3, Series 1983 Amend 1983 Budget - Parks and Recreation Assessment Fee be adopted. Inquired where the additional $106,000 in revenue in this fund came from. Administrator vJurl advised in the carryover fund from 1982 resulting from additional building permits. Other funds will be effected also and another resolution will be presented at the next cOlmcil meeting to accomodate the other funds. Question called for on the motion. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera seconded that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. Councilmembers had been provided a memo from Director of Public Safety Lessman regarding the police car acquisition. Recommendation that Council authorize the request. Director Leesman advised they were asking approval of the state bids; upon approval of these bids a second request would be made for financing. Councilman Leary asked if the bid included the equipment going into the cars. Director Leesman advised the equipment was available. The only cost to be incurred in this respect would be the labor costs to install it in the new cars. Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded that Director of Public Safety Lees- man be authorized to proceed with the acqui- sition of the state bid, contingent upon financing which will be brought back to Council for their approval.
