<br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />Councilman Brown <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF VAN ARK "t.JATER TAP <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #724 - AMENDING <br />ELECTRIC CODE - 2ND READING <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />8/4/81 <br /> <br />Page -4- <br /> <br />His second reason was for not setting a <br />precedent for not issuing water taps out- <br />side the city, especially when the water <br />does not return to the sewer system for <br />reuse. <br /> <br />Stated he had a problem with the easement <br />across the undeveloped piece of property. <br />In the future if the lot is developed with <br />our water line running thru it, he could <br />see it leading to future problems. <br />Mr. Van Ark advised council he had received <br />permission from the owner of the property <br />for the easement. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Mr. Van Ark <br />be granted the outside water tap. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Roll call vote: <br />Domenico No <br />Fauson Yes <br />Cummings Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />Brown No <br />DelPizzo Yes <br />Motion carried 4-2. <br />Requested that the people responsible for <br />the predicament be brought up-to-date on <br />the proper procedure. <br />Mayor Caranci reported this has been done. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci also informed Mr. Van Ark <br />that anyone that has been granted a water <br />tap is subject to annexation when the time <br />comes. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of council had a copy of the <br />ordinance. Attorney Rautenstraus read <br />the ordinance by title only and certified <br />proper publication. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings moved Ordinance #724- <br />Amending Electric Code be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Roll call vote: <br />Cummings Yes <br />DelPizzo Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />Domenico Yes <br />Fauson Yes <br />Brown Yes <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br />
