<br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />PUBLICATION - ORDINANCE #718 <br />AS AMENDED <br /> <br />BSCS ANNEXATION AND ZONING <br /> <br />CONTINUE PUBLIC HEARING OF <br />ORDINANCES #713 & 714 <br /> <br />MIKE JENKINS LAWSUIT <br /> <br />ouncilman Domenico <br /> <br />4/21/81 <br /> <br />Page - 5 - <br /> <br />Attorney Joss advised this section per- <br />tained to Massage Parlors. <br /> <br />Inquired about door-to-door salesman being <br />licensed by the City. <br />Attorney Joss advised this section was not <br />revised, but is contained in the present <br />municipal code, with the exceptions per <br />State Statutes. <br /> <br />Councilman Heier moved that OrdjJIlance #718 <br />Updating Louisville Municipal Code, Titles <br />1 Thru 9 as mnended be published. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss advised if there was anyone <br />present that was concerned about the BSCS <br />Annexation and Zoning Ordinances Nos. 713, <br />and 714 the public hearing was continued <br />until this evening. However, staff is <br />still negotiating with the owners and was <br />asking Council's permission to continue <br />those public hearings until next meeting. <br />May 5, 1981. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinances <br />#713 and #714 - BSCS Annexation and Zoning <br />public hearing be continued untilJ.''lay 5, 1981. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Hotion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss advised council that dr. <br />Jenkins had filed suit against the City <br />in Boulder District Court alleging that <br />the City was negligent in the care, <br />installation, and maintenance of the sewer <br />lines that services his property. Both <br />the City staff and Mr. Jenkins have spent <br />a considE~rable amount of time investiga- <br />ting the allegation. Mr. Jenkins is still <br />not satisfied and the suit has been turned <br />over to our insurance company for their <br />disposition. Mr. Jenkins was asking for <br />reasonable compensation - no fixed dollar <br />amoun t . <br /> <br />Stated he was under the impression that <br />Mr. Jenkins' property had been condemned <br />several years ago. <br />
