<br />RESOLUTION NO. 29 <br />POW WOW SPECIAL USE <br />REVIEW <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 698 <br />CABLE TELEVISION <br /> <br />APPROVAL CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> <br />PROCEDURE COMPLAINT <br /> <br />Minutes - page 6 <br />September 2, 1980 <br /> <br />Council voiced their concerns re- <br />garding the proposed Pow Wow and felt <br />that it would be a benefit to the com- <br />munity to discuss this through a public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Mr. Dale Marcotte stated that he was <br />surprised at the turn of events, but <br />would work with the City in getting <br />the information regarding the Pow Wow <br />to the residents of the community. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Carnival <br />moved that a formal public hearing <br />be scheduled for the next regular <br />Council meeting in September, concerning <br />the Pow Wow and the notice be published <br />in the Louisville Times. Seconded by <br />Councilman Fauson. <br />Roll call vote. <br /> <br />AYES: Fauson, Caranci, DelPizzo, <br />Meier, Domenico, Carnival. <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them <br />a copy of Ordinance No. 698 for their <br />review and files. Attorney Joss read <br />the Ordinance on first reading by <br />title only. <br />Attorney Joss stated that Storers Cable <br />T.V. had signed the permit agreement <br />before presenting the ordinance. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reviewed the agreement. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Domenico <br />moved that Ordinance No. 698 be published. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Carnival. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Mr. John Ray came before Council voicing <br />his disapproval of the way his son <br />and three other boys were pursued by <br />the Louisville Police Department. <br />Mayor Pro-tern Caranci stated that the <br />appropriate procedure is for Mr. Ray <br />and the other parents to file a formal <br />complaint in writing to the City <br />
