- Grace, public art section: wanted LCC to clarify that Grace and Keely are heading the <br />sub -committee and that members of the public are welcome to attend. <br />- Minutes approved and seconded. <br />VI. Chair's Report (Leah) 5 min. <br />- Recap of the budget conversation and request for increase with Jeff Durbin, City <br />Manager, and Erica. Jeff asked that we make a formal request to amend the budget. <br />Leah asked for patience. <br />- Leah mentioned that she spoke to Jeff as well about moving the stage at community <br />park. <br />- Sarah made a suggestion to use this year collect data so that we can propose to <br />Jeff with info from the community, external groups like choirs and dance groups, <br />taking written suggestions <br />- Meghan Davis is the acting city manager because Jeff is out on medical. <br />VII. Staff Report (Sharon Nemechek) 5 min.: She shared upcoming activities on the calendar <br />planned but the library and cultural services. Dates can be found on the city website. <br />- One Community has launched a video <br />- Pride Month Celebration <br />- City Hall art chalking <br />- Juneteenth Flag raising <br />- Screening of the Film This Is Not Who We Are <br />Vill. Budget Update (Grace Gee) 5 min. <br />- Spent: $400 more than planned <br />- No payments made to arts grants recipients yet <br />IX. Community Park Summer Concert Update 20 min. <br />- Get there at 5:30 at the latest <br />- We are there to be a helpful resource and a LCC presence. <br />a. Discussion Item: Overview of volunteer roles <br />i. Parking sign distribution- Trina for the AM/ lunchtime distribution. JR to let the bands in <br />and the group to help with picking up the cones. <br />- Parking in the lot is reserved only for the band, food trucks and their resources, <br />NOT anyone. Handicap spaces are limited, but they will be replaced in another <br />location. <br />ii. Parking attendant - Second pair of volunteers need to be at the entrance of the <br />parking lot from 4pm-6:30pm. <br />iii. LCC tent set up and managing tables- 5:30 at the latest for this is helpful <br />iv. Band merchandise table- we are not responsible for selling the merch but we will <br />provide the table <br />V. Bags of ice, a few gallons of water. We will also need to get compostable cups as well <br />as a compost bin. <br />b. Action Item: Assign volunteers to each role/date <br />
