City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 20, 2022 <br />Page 4 of 11 <br />Mayor Stolzmann closed the public hearing. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Fahey moved to approve Resolution No. 52, Series 2022; <br />seconded by Councilmember Dickinson. <br />VOTE: Motion passed by unanimous roll call vote. <br />600 LINCOLN AVENUE REQUEST FOR LANDMARK AND HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION GRANT <br />RESOLUTION NO. 53, SERIES 2022 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />LANDMARK DESIGNATION FOR 600 LINCOLN AVENUE, THE PETRUN HOUSE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 54, SERIES 2022 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION FUND GRANT FOR THE PETRUN HOUSE, 600 LINCOLN <br />AVENUE <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item and asked for disclosures. Seeing none, she <br />opened the public hearing. <br />Planner Brackett Hogstad stated this is a request for a landmark and a request for a <br />preservation and restoration grant for 612 Jefferson Avenue. She review the site and <br />history of the property. She noted it meets the landmarking criteria for age, social <br />significance, and for physical integrity. The house is associated with the Petrun Family. <br />She reviewed the grant request totaling $40,000 and stated the applicant will match all <br />grant funds. <br />The Historic Preservation Commission recommends approval of both the landmarking <br />and the grant request. Staff also recommends approval. <br />Public Comments - None <br />Councilmember Most thanked the applicants for their plans to restore the home.
