R. DOMENICO'S TESTIMONY
CONT'D

MAYOR WASCHAK

MR. DOMENICO:

The railroad is not responsible for that -
it is E. & F. Industries that is doing all
that shakin and stuff. It has been from
that time on and until now that the rail-
road has been doing it, and you people know
it and you wouldn't listen to me. Here is
one fella right here that says you couldn't
tell him that the railroad was doin all
that jarrin. There are a lot of people in
here that will verify that, that they don't
feel one bit of the railroad that goes by.
We get them jars everyday. I got one here
where they set off several charges. They
set one off this morning at 9:12 - shook
the property - here's May 10th 9:41 a.m. -
loud noise; 10:45 - same thing; 11:16,
11:56, 1:37, 2:44, 3:46 and 4:19. That
was at the north building up there. That
little one that is just them little blasts.
Now at the big building south - the same
day 1:20 heavy jar, water rose up in air
like a geyser. Frank Rizzi and I were out
there in the yard when they pulled that off
and then again at 4:15 p.m. another heavy
jar shook the house - (moved his hands back
and forth) it goes this way. I don't under-
stand how they get the railroad - they left
the railroad out. There are several people
here who will verify what I'm sayin. Another
thing, Mr. Waschak I was supposed to get a
letter from the time that, that policeman
and Howard Berry and Mr. Wurl were out there,
and I never did get any report on it yet. I
wonder why?

Does the council recall the notification of
when we were to go down to E. & F. Industries
some time ago.

I'm referring to that time that officer came
in there and set in the house. Berry went up
there in somebody's house - I don't know whose
house he was at, and he said they blasted, and
it shook their house and the dishes rattled in
there - then he said the train came by 15 min-
utes later and the dishes were still rattlin.
Mr. Wurl said he felt that jar, and this police-
man felt it and I asked him how much that
charge was and he said it was a 3~ pounder.

-9-
