~. DAVIES TESTIMONY CONT'D

ALEX DOMENICO

ADMINISTRATOR WURL
ALEX DOMENICO
ADMINISTRATOR WURL

MAYOR WASCHAK

ALEX DOMENICO

The shock that hit our place moved a potted palm
on the north side of the building and jarred my
wife and me while we were sitting watching T.V.
Now this happened 3 times. We do not get any
noise, at least I don't get to hear any of the
noise. We do hear the trains go through and
some of them are real rattlers, and whey they do
come thru it does rattle one of our front windows
probably because we have a netal awning over it.
We do not complain that that is part of E. F.
Industries. I do maintain that they are using
an overload of powder in forming, and I am not
an expert at this. But I will tell you this
much, when the original owner, Mr. Nobel Ida,
well it doesn't make any difference, and he had
large shots to make, he went clear over to the
Columbine Mine and dug a pit and lined it with
cement to oblige the City and he was going to
go farther, but he sold out to someone else.
Now I can speak with a lettle bit of authority
because my son did work and he shot many of them,
and I never felt any of them at all, even on a
Saturday when I was at home. I would like an
explanation because I certainly don't believe
that a 3 lb. shot can jar my house in excess of
2 blocks away. Thank you very much.

"Turn to page 5."

What do you have there, Alex?
That report when they did their own monitoring.

Council does not have that tonight.

Go ahead, Alex - we don't have it in front of
us tonight.

We came down here on December 2, 1975. They set
off a charge at 4:20 P.M. and it is not on the
report. They have December 17, 1975, they don't
have December 2, 1975. Mr. Motte came up there
and set in the house on January 28, 1976 and
they set a charge off at 2.06 and they have on
that transfer 0.00. He was in the house when
they set that blast off, and it shook hell out
of that house. How they got 0.00 - they had
that velocity machine out in front of the side-
walk. There is something phony someplace.
There are some other dates here - on 10/29/75
that was in October 2.82. It don't have 10/30/7
10/31/75 those were two of their big heavy days.

-11-
