E. & F. INDUSTRIES CONT'D

He replied that Council was only hearing
one side of the story, namely from E. & F.
Industries and not the people living
in the area who had to contend with the
blasting.
Mr. Jack Yoblin, President of E. & F. asked
Mr. Domenico that if in the past 3 months,
if the blasts had been "rigged" as he
stated - were they still bothersome. His
reply was "yes."
Mr. Domenico specifically requested the re-
port made when the policeman was at his
residence and the officer stated that in
his estimation the blast was at least 3~ lbs.
Also, the form that Sgt. Barday filled out
when he was a witness to the situation.
Mr. Domenico also requested a copy of the
noise pollution ordinance that Paul Morris
was to have drafted.
Mayor Waschak then requested that Mr. Wurl
provide all the information Mr. Domenico
requested.
Councilman DiCarlo asked of Administrator
Wurl what the price would be for an in-
dependent report of this situation from
a private firm. The reply was approxi-
mately $1,000.00.
Councilman McDonald stated she could not
understand why council persons were so in-
volved in the situation which seemed to
be primarily between Mr. Domenico and E.
& F. Industries and wanted the City At-
torney's opinion. Attorney Morris stated
the reference would be to a City Ordinance
violation, and in his opinion this had not
been done by E. & F. Industries.
Councilman Caranci stated that since the
City Attorney stated there was no violation
of City Ordinances, he asked Mr. Domenico
to prove that the City was in violation.
Councilman DiLorenzo asked why none of the
persons in the area who signed the petition
ever answered any of Mr. Yoblin's letters,
never went down to watch the operation to
know what it was, and only one person was
complaining.

- 3 -
