<br />OFFICER MORRIS MEMO CONTID <br /> <br />SCHOOL LAND - LEASE <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />CITY PARKING LOTS <br /> <br />TENNIS COURTS - PIRATES <br />PARK <br /> <br />He stated that the matter should be handled <br />by the Police Chief and City Administrator <br />and to please advise the Police Department <br />of this. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if the City had <br />leased the school property. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the matter had been <br />brought to Council earlier. He stated that <br />he was not sure as for how long the lease <br />was, but would check and report to Council. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that at the <br />last meeting he stated that he could <br />not see why there was so much landscaping <br />at the City parking lots; but after <br />seeing a film presentation, he now felt the <br />landscaping was a nice addition to the <br />project. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked why the City crew <br />should be responsible for the cleaning of <br />the tennis courts during the school year <br />for school meets. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City crew has <br />been cleaning the courts and striping them <br />every year. He stated that the crew did <br />the work when the demand was there. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the dirt <br />from the sides of the courts is always <br />blowing on the courts which makes if <br />difficult to use. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there is a plan to <br />plant around the courts, but he did not <br />know when. <br />Councilman DelPizzo also stated that when <br />it rains the mud around the courts is bad. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would check and <br />see if there was something that could be <br />put there to walk on to keep the trans- <br />porting of mud onto the courts down. <br /> <br />With no more comments Councilman DiCarlo <br />moved that the Council comments and com- <br />mittee reports be accepted and placed on <br />file. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />-11- <br />
