<br />AUDIT REPORT Mr. Wurl stated that the City received a <br />letter from the State Auditors stating <br />that the City overspent the Special <br />Revenue Fund. <br />The City auditors reviewed the matter and <br />found that the City had not overspent as <br />the state was looking at fue revenue side <br />of the fund instead of the expenditure <br />side. <br /> <br />SEWER PLANT Mr. Wurl stated that Mrs. Mayhoffer stated <br />that the material which was planted at <br />the sewer plant would cause problems <br />with her farming. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />the City contacted the Dept. of Agri- <br />culture and they wrote the City stating <br />the type of grass planted at the plant <br />was acceptable by them and would have <br />been recommended. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the grass <br />there is really a weed and is green for <br />a very short time. In reference to Mrs. <br />Mayhoffer, Councilman McDonald moved that <br />a letter be written and accompanied with <br />the Dept. of Agriculture letter showing <br />her of the City's findings. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />After discussion on the type of grass <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the City <br />Administrator be authorized to investigate <br />planting of a grass at the sewer plant <br />which would require little maintenance but <br />stay green through most of the year. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. <br />Domenico yes, Caranci no, DelPizzo yes, <br />McDonald no, DiLorenzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />GOALS & PRIORITIES Mr. Wurl stated that he would like Coun- <br />cil to decide which way they would like <br />to go on an opinion survey. He stated <br />that the citizens questionnaire was <br />very successful in the past. He asked <br />that Council review the means of ac- <br />quiring priorities and give their <br />suggetions to him. <br /> <br />DENVER METRO WATER DISTRICT Mr. Wurl stated that there is a bill in <br />the legislature that provides for the es- <br />tablishment of a Denver Metro Water District. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Council should decide <br />whether they want to actively oppose <br />the bill or support it. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
