AUDIT REPORT Mr. Wurl stated that the City received a letter from the State Auditors stating that the City overspent the Special Revenue Fund. The City auditors reviewed the matter and found that the City had not overspent as the state was looking at fue revenue side of the fund instead of the expenditure side. SEWER PLANT Mr. Wurl stated that Mrs. Mayhoffer stated that the material which was planted at the sewer plant would cause problems with her farming. Mr. Wurl stated that the City contacted the Dept. of Agri- culture and they wrote the City stating the type of grass planted at the plant was acceptable by them and would have been recommended. Councilman DelPizzo stated that the grass there is really a weed and is green for a very short time. In reference to Mrs. Mayhoffer, Councilman McDonald moved that a letter be written and accompanied with the Dept. of Agriculture letter showing her of the City's findings. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. After discussion on the type of grass Councilman DelPizzo moved that the City Administrator be authorized to investigate planting of a grass at the sewer plant which would require little maintenance but stay green through most of the year. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Caranci no, DelPizzo yes, McDonald no, DiLorenzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. GOALS & PRIORITIES Mr. Wurl stated that he would like Coun- cil to decide which way they would like to go on an opinion survey. He stated that the citizens questionnaire was very successful in the past. He asked that Council review the means of ac- quiring priorities and give their suggetions to him. DENVER METRO WATER DISTRICT Mr. Wurl stated that there is a bill in the legislature that provides for the es- tablishment of a Denver Metro Water District. Mr. Wurl stated that Council should decide whether they want to actively oppose the bill or support it. -2-
