<br />POSITION IN SANITATION DEPT. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL SECRETARY <br /> <br />WATER & SANITATION <br />FACILITIES AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he would like to <br />have Councils approval to advertise for <br />the position at the sanitation plant. <br />He stated that the person would be used <br />partly in parks and recreation also. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Council authorize the City Administra- <br />tor to advertise for the position in <br />the Sanitation Department. Seconded by <br />Councilman Caranci. Roll call. Domenico <br />yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo no, <br />McDonald yes. DiLorenzo yes. Motion <br />carried. Job was placed in 1976 budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that an extra person was <br />budgeted for in the secretarial pool. <br />One-fourth of the expenses from Engineering <br />and Building, and one-half from Planning. <br />He stated that he would like Councils <br />pennission to advertise for the position. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the City <br />Administrator be authorized to advertise <br />for the position. Seconded by Council- <br />man McDonald. Council asked what hap- <br />pened to the LURA personnel who were <br />suppose to help at City Hall. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that they have been kept <br />busy full time by Urban Renewal. After <br />discussion roll call vote was taken on <br />motion. Domenico no, DiCarlo no, DelPizzo <br />no, McDonald yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci <br />yes. Tie vote with Mayor Waschak voting <br />no to defeat the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Houlehan pointed out the changes in <br />the agreement to Council. <br />A question was brought up in regards to <br />reimbursing the developer. Mr. Houlehan <br />stated that the reimbursement would be a <br />surcharge on the 'land purchaser who would <br />be tapping on to the oversized main; and <br />that there would be no expense at all to <br />the City. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that on water shares; the <br />researching of deeds showed that on Gary <br />Varra property there were 4.6 shares of <br />Marshall water and 4.8 shares on Jack <br />Varra land that was not reflected on the <br />deeds of Mr. Mizel being turned over to <br />the City along with the property. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that under City Ordinance, <br />a party wishing to annex to the City must <br />acquire all water rights that historically <br />went with the land. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
