<br />ORDINANCE #487 cont1d <br /> <br />NOVEMBER MEETING DATE CHANGE <br /> <br />CAC APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />BUREAU OF MINES REQUEST <br /> <br />in the Louisville Times, a news paper <br />of general circulation, published in the <br />City of Louisville, in its issues of <br />Thursday, October 30, 1975 and that <br />said Ordinance after its publication as <br />aforesaid, be considered for final <br />passage at a regular meeting of the City <br />Council on Tuesday, November 18, 1975. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. <br />Domenico yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, <br />Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl suggested that <br />the regular meeting scheduled for Nov- <br />ember 4, 1975, which is election night <br />be changed to November 6, 1975. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the meeting <br />be rescheduled from November 4, 1975 to <br />November 6, 1975. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that there was a <br />request from CAC to appoint Mr. Ernie <br />Sica to the Board. Mrs. Westbrook <br />stated that there would be one other <br />opening on the board with the approval <br />of Mr. Sica. <br />Mr. Sica introduced himself to Council <br />stating that he would like to get in- <br />volved in City affairs. Councilwoman <br />Dhieux moved that Mr. Sica be appointed <br />to CAC. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the <br />Bureau of Mines has asked for Permission <br />to do testing in Louisville as realtes <br />to subsidence. He stated that they would <br />put markers on certain streets and return <br />occassionally to check for subsidence. <br />He also stated that the City would be <br />given a copy of the report and he felt <br />that there would be no problem in <br />approving their request. <br />Council questioned whether the results <br />would have any bearing on the Mizel <br />matter. Mr. Wurl stated that he did not <br />feel this would be used for the rulings <br />by the LUC. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the project was <br />being funded by the governement and not <br />the state. <br /> <br />2 . <br />
