PARKING LOT PUBLIC SERVICE FRANCHISE JACOVETTE CORNER LASTOKA-KURETICH PROBLEM CONSORTIUM REPORT POLICE MEETING Councilman DiCarlo asked when the parking lots were to be completed. Mr. Wurl stated that the City received the money from FHA and must abide with their procedure. He also stated that FHA had the plans and the City is waiting for their approval as bids can't be called for until then. Councilman DiCarlo asked if the City will be reimbursed for the period of time that the agreement has been delayed. Mr. Wurl stated that this is the Citys position and he had called Public Service and is awaiting their return call. Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mr. Jacovette stated that the gutter in front of his home at the corner of Harper St. and Front St. causes a puddle to remain near his property when there is an excess of water and it remains for a long time. Mr. Wurl stated that he would check the situation. Councilman DelPizzo stated that Mr. Lastoka and Mr. Kuretich have a problem with the alley between their homes. When the City grades the ally Mr. Kuretich breaks the bank and causes the water to drain into Mr. Lastokas' yard. Mr. Wurl stated that he would review the problem to see if it can be resolved. Councilwoman Dhieux stated that she received the minutes and agenda from County Consor- tium and that the October meeting has been cancelled and on the November agenda, Louisville is #1 on the list. She suggested that Council read the minutes specifically on HB 1089 which will probably revised in the near future. Councilman Berry stated that letters from citizens were answered and also the Com- mittee was informed that there was a vacancy in the Police Department made by Officer Robert Nelson. Councilman Berry stated that Chief Munger had recommendations from the Police Depart- ment. Councilman Berry also stated that a letter was written by Attorney Morris in regards to the appointment of Police Chief and officers. 4.
