PROPOSAL AUTHORIZATION
WATER & SEWER BONDS

Mr. Wur1 stated that what was need was Councils
authorization to get a proposal from Boettcher
& Company for water and sewer bonds. Attorney Morris will check on
the legal base for this.

Mr. Helart stated that Parks had one bid from
Sturgeon Electric for the repairs on the lighting
system. A question was brought up as to whether
or not the call for bids should have been
publicized. Attorney Morris stated that under
repairs it does not call for publiciation of
bids, however under improvements there must
be a publication calling for bids. After dis-
cussion Councilman Caranci moved that Parks &
Rec be authorized to call for bids at Miners
Field and if need be hire and engineer to
give recommendation as to the extent of the
work that needs to be done. Seconded by Coun-
cilman Berry. Councilman DiCarlo moved to
amend the motion stating that two bids be re-
quested.
