PLANNING <br />LETTER RE COAL CREEK <br /> <br />LAWN MOWERS & MAINTANENCE <br />EQUIPMENT FOR PARKS <br /> <br />ROOSEVELT STREET <br />OVERLAY DETERIORATION <br /> <br />After discussion, Mayor Waschak suggested <br />no action be taken at this time as more <br />time was needed to digest the pOlicy thoroughly <br />before he could commit himself. <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl renewed Council's <br />data regarding the 142 acres acquired when <br />the Sanitation District was taken over. <br />Dr. Taylor had sent a plat of what he had <br />intended if the City was willing to sell <br />this section of land. Mayor Waschak requested <br />a letter be sent to Dr. Taylor stating the <br />Council had voted not to sell the land at <br />this time. <br /> <br />Discussion was held whether or not water <br />restrictions or regulations be enforced. <br />It was the general opinion of Council that <br />no restrictions be made at this time. <br /> <br />Discussion held regarding building permits. <br />Councilman DelPizzo remarked he thought a <br />remodeling job of $200.00 should be the <br />minimum before a permit need be obtained. <br />Further discussion to be held at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry stated he would like to have <br />the Public Works Director give Mayor and <br />Council a complete tour of the water and <br />sewer system. Because of a conflicts of dates <br />this will be brought up at the June 15th meet- <br />i ng . <br /> <br />Councilwoman Dhieux inquired if a reply need <br />be given. After discussion decision was to <br />abide with verbal agreement. <br />Mayor Waschak brought Council's attention to <br />letter from Lafayette regarding Coal Creek <br />meeting to be held in their Council chambers <br />on June 5, 1974 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo noted Parks & Rec. request <br />for fertilizer and weed killer machine, and <br />inquired if the City owned this equipment. <br />Administrator Wurl advised that the City <br />has 2 large mowers and 3 hand mowers as well <br />as a weed killer machine - Parks Board to be <br />advised not to purchase additional equipment. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated an overlay deterior- <br />ation on Roosevelt St. from the corner of <br />Mr. Fleming's property to Hutchinson St. <br />Administrator Wurl stated contractors have <br /> <br />-2- <br />
