It was sug- <br /> gested that the Ordinance be reviewed. <br /> After discussion Attorney Morris stated <br /> that he felt the Ordinance should be <br /> repealed and let the state statute be <br /> used av the guidelines for the matter. <br /> It was recommended that Attorney Morris <br /> draw up an amendment to get the old <br /> Ordinance repealed. <br /> PC:.=CE HELP Councilwoman Scholl stated that she <br /> received a telephone call from a citizen <br /> stating that a Lafayette Policement had <br /> to be called because the Louisville <br /> Police were not around to take care of <br /> the matter and the citizen was upset. <br /> Councilwoman Scholl stated that this was <br /> a bad policy because the Police were in <br /> the City and should have responded. The <br /> matter will be brought up at the Police <br /> Commission meeting. <br /> Mayor Waschak stated that he received a <br /> letter from Mayor McNichols stating that <br /> Paul Beck was seriously ill and if the <br /> City or personal contributions would like <br /> to be made in regards to this they should <br /> be sent to the Denver Medical Center. <br /> After discussion it was decided that if <br /> anyone would like to sake a personal <br /> contribution it was up to them, however, <br /> the City would not contribute to the fund. <br /> Mayor Waschak also stated that a young <br /> dentist from Kansas City would like to <br /> start a practice in Louisville and if <br /> •ayone knew of any vacant buildings, they <br /> should contact the gentlemen. Mayor <br /> Waschak has the address. <br /> WATER BILLING Mayor Waschak stated that he had received <br /> calls in regards to the delinquent letter <br /> which the water department sent out. He <br /> stated that many people felt the letter <br /> was harsh. It was recommended by Council <br /> that there should be a monthly bill sent <br />
