Motion carried. <br /> NOOSING AUTHORITY <br /> APPOINTMENTS City Administrator Weal stated that there <br /> were three letters of interest to fill the <br /> two vacancies on Housing Authority; Jim <br /> Collins, Jennifer Kissell and David Stahl. <br /> Chairman, Steve Anderson stated that <br /> usually the board has recommendations; how- <br /> ever, with the lack of quorum there have <br /> not been any meetings. <br /> After comments Councilman Caranci moved <br /> that Jim Collins and David Stahl be appointed <br /> to fill the vacancies on the Housing <br /> Authority Board. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Kilker. Roll call. Mario yes, Caranci <br /> yes, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo yes, Meier <br /> yea, Kilker yes. Motion carried. <br /> KENNETH DUKES CONSTRUCTION <br /> PAY ESTIMATE #5 Mr. Wurl stated that the pay estimate has <br /> been approved by Mr. Hobbs, the consulting <br /> engineer. <br /> Councilman DiCarlo moved that Kenneth Dukes <br /> Construction pay estimate, in the amount <br /> of $29,645. 16 be approved. Seconded by <br /> Councilman DiLorenzo. <br /> Councilman DelPizzo asked for an explana- <br /> tion on the pay estimate sheet how some <br /> items can be in the minus category. <br /> Mr. Hobbs stated that the project is nearing <br /> completion and some items have been adjusted <br /> as some materials may not have been re- <br /> ceived, some parts of the project have not <br /> been completed and will when weather per- <br /> mits . <br /> Councilman DelPizzo asked about the road <br /> base, why it was different then in the <br /> specifications. <br /> Mr. Hobbs stated that he felt using the <br /> gravel on site, instead of hauling in more, <br /> would save the City some money and that it <br /> would be adequate. <br /> Councilman DelPizzo also asked why the crested <br /> wheat was not planted. <br /> Mr. Hobbs stated that in looking at the site <br /> he felt it would be a waste of City funds <br /> to plant the wheat and then have to tear <br /> it out in two years to expand. <br /> Councilman Caranci stated that all other <br />
