Square <br /> Investment Corporation, owner of the parcel <br /> of land within the proposed annexation <br /> stated that he was not in opposition, but <br /> requested information regarding the pro- <br /> posed annexation. <br /> He also stated that the corporation had not <br /> taken a position onthe proposed annexation <br /> request. <br /> Mr. Foster, representing the applicants stated <br /> that the reason they have petitioned for <br /> annexation was it is easier and more bene- <br /> ficial to deal with the City then County, <br /> also tap fees are less and that the areas <br /> are now being serviced by the City. <br /> Mr. Wurl added that at least 4 of the annexors <br /> are now supplied City water. <br /> After discussion Mayor Waschak closed the <br /> public hearing and Attorney Joss read Re- <br /> RESOLUTION #23 solution #23, Series 1978. <br /> Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution #23 <br /> Series 1978 be adopted. Seconded by Coun- <br /> cilman DiCarlo. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, <br /> Kilker yes, Caranci yes, Meier yes and <br /> DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE #600 All members of Council had before them a copy <br /> FOSTER ETAL of Ordinance #600 for their review and file. <br /> ANNEXATION Attorney Joss read the Ordinance on first <br /> reading by title only. <br /> Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance #600 <br /> be ordered published and a public hearing <br /> set for August 15, 1978. <br /> Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo.
