1/18/83 Page -3-
Mayor Meier Thanked Mrs. Meagoa for being present at the
-sating and welcomed her to the Library Board.
LOUISVILLE FIRE BUT. Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the ap-
SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR :.14,.Z::4u plication was in order.
APPLICATION
PUBLIC HEARING 2/1/83 Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrara
seconded that the Louisville Fire Dept .
Special events liquor license application be
accepted and the public hearing be set for
February 1 , 1983 . Question called for. All
in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS None
CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance;
ORDINANCE #779 - AMENDING Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only
ZONING REGULATIONS on first reading and the request was for
publication.
PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Councilman Cummings moved, Councilman Ferrera
seconded that Ordinance #779 - Amending
Zoning Regulations be published.
Councilman Leary Requested Attorney Rautenstraus to enumerate
the changes that had been made.
Rautenstraus advised the changes in the Board
of Adjustment section were basically house-
keeping in nature, i.e. the Chairman could
be elected by a majority vote; also matters
other than variAne.ag g! d Auarto nrning riania4cmc
made by the zoning administrator can be made
by a majority vote. Presently there is some
question as to which way the vote would have
to go. It is possible that it could be ar-
gued that four votes would be required to
take any action which needed clarification,
for items which specifically aren't set forth
by state statutes to require four members.
Relative to appeals-provided for the property
owners within 500' of the property to be noti-
fied.
With respect to the building permit section,
provided that they could be reviewed by
all appropriate departments of the city. Also
added a section which requires before a
building permit is to be issued on a parcel
of property the owner must go through the
subdivision process.
i11!"J.a am^ r ••••• a 2i..0 J.L.XI'IIJR l NO.l•aSZ&yaw,.xa N•m.o.
