. "emo Page -2- 6/29/84 D. ORDINANCE NO. 838 - COMMERCIAL OFFICE ZONE - 1ST READING SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING. At the last meeting Council instructed the City Attorney to prepare this ordinance on the new commercial office zone. The ordinance is enclosed for your consideration. Item 11. CITY ADMINISTRATORsS REPORT A. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - DISCUSSION The Mayor requested that this matter be placed on the agenda and an outline of the comments be submitted to council for your consideration in the discussion on this item. B. HERITAGE PARK - AWARD BID A copy of the bid tabulation and also a memorandum outlining the Director of Community'Sexvices recommendations on this item is enclosed for Council's review. C. REID BURTON - PRE-TREATMENT BASIN PAY ESTIMATE NO. 6 A copy of the pay estimate and the Engineer's recommendation is enclosed. D. BOULDER COUNTY - MC CASLIN AGREEMENT The problems relating to immediate possession on this property have been worked out between the City Attorney and the Attorneys for the property owners. We are recommending that Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the McCaslin Agreement. E. HOOVER AVENUE - POLK AVENUE TRAFFIC CONTROL Enclosed is a recommendation from the Director of Public Works as relates to a temporary resolution to the speeding on both of these streets. Recommend Council approve the recommendation of the Public Works Director and authorize the installation of the temporary stop signs. F. RESIDENTIAL ZONE - MEMO At a recent council meeting, City Council requested that the Director of Community Development come up with a recommendation on a new residential zone. Enclosed is a memo outlining his recommendations. If Council is in concurrence with those, I would suggest that the City Attorney be authorized to prepare an ordinance establishing that zone.
