referring to all three (3) of those
documents.
avidsons i wonder if Council would object to
us holding our questions until alter
the public comments?
Council agreed.
Sheffield: Ny understanding in talking with our
engineer, the two (2) bound copies
are pages 1 0 2 of the plat and the
single page is page 3 of the plat,
which that part was revised by
Planning Commission. so, it is a
ooaplet. set. On. (2) and two (2)
are as is, three (3) also is. Ill l
three of those docwsents are part of
the plot.
Davidson asked for comments from interested parties in favor of the
subdivision plat.
Barbara Turner, 1495 Franklin Court, Louisville, CO, supports the
subdivision. She is a neighbor and has always expected this tract
to be develo,ed. she likes the open space, but sbe.fools that the
developer has the right to develop it. She supports the conditions
that the Planning Commission has put on this subdivision. She was
concerned about the height that these houses oould be. The City of
Louisville allow th, 35 ft- height restriction to be calculotoed
from the street level plus 35 ft. she felt that it you haws a
situatl.^m where the lot falls downhill from the street, you could
possibly have a situation where the house is 60 ft. higher than the
back of tho lot. In her situation, from her back property lino to
the proposed street is 30 ft. so, the house eight be is ft. higher
than how back property line. She would like for the :arty to have
a more r.aliotlo interpretation of height allowance. She felt it
would be more effective for the community to have the 35 ft. height
limitation come from the existing ground, rather than the proposed
road in front of the house. Other neigh that live close to the
waft and to the south are not looking forward to suing 50 - 60 ft.
houses blocking their view. She supports the idea of the park.
She feels that the proposed access on to south Boulder Road is
taking away the open space that was granted in this subdivision 12
years ago. she believes that a path uhould be placed along
Davidson Ditch to connect the open space up to South Boulder Road.
She felt it would be a benefit to the community to have an access
froa this open space up to where ssest Willow Street for their
children to gat from one pa4t of the town to another.
Davidson called for anyone also in the audience who wished to speak
in favor of the subdivision.
16
