.. .
future date with Broomfield on the _..Jth street
Interchange we should do something there. I would
be willing to look at that. Once you go to the
meeting on Thursday and if nothing comes from
that, I would recommend that we get out.
Howard: If we get out of this is it possible for them to
build this anyway?
Griffiths: My understanding is that there has been a desire
to have all of municipalities that have been
participating consent to the agreement. In the
absence of anyone, it was my understanding that
the agreement would not go toward. I do not know
of any legal basis for that.
Howard: Would it be possible for the City Administrator to
see what the concerns are by the City of
Broomfield so that when we come together we can
come together as a package.
Hornbostel: Would like to see what happens at the Thursday
night meeting.
Howard: I certainly don't want to see another W-470. I
too would like to see the process continue, but if
it looks like W-470 my vote would be no.
Carnival: I believe we have too much at stake here and have
put too much effort into this to just throw our
arms up at this point. I do believe there is a
need to finally take a stand and say these are
things that are important to us. I don't see the
City of Louisville asking for very much in this
whole process. I think we should say we either
get these things or we don't participate.
Hornbostel: I think the issues that we are asking for are
hairy issues, they are issues that will take some
time. I am not asking for them to be resolved
right now, but I am asking for them to say that we
will get access. I am willing to stay in there
and stand my ground.
Carnival: Asked the city attorney if our concerns needed to
be in the agreement.
Griffiths: My recommendation would be that the fundamental
issue be addressed in the agreement or you have no
method of enforcing it.
Davidson: If we are going to send Councilwoman Hornbostel
back to the meeting on Thursday, we need to send
her with a big stick in a form of a motion stating
that the draft language of the Northwest Parkway
7
