All input
received was integrated into one list and prioritized based on:
Return on investment,
Most positive impact to golfers experience and
Long term positive impact to Coal Creek Golf Course, the City of Louisville and
its citizens.
As we learned more about the strategic issues it became apparent that we needed to add
preservation of assets
another category – . This is the required categorization in order to
not let the Coal Creek Golf Course facilities deteriorate further specifically, the club
house exterior appearance, leaking roof and several other issues.
As you will see further into this document we established topic codes in order to
categorize the numerous items into similar areas and then we also established buckets,
which will be the structure within which we will prioritize for execution. Each input item
will be put in a bucket according to the expanded prioritization scheme and the buckets
will be prioritized in the same manner.
The complete spreadsheet list of issues and requirements in Section 9 provides an
integrated and prioritized list that we will review with all stakeholders and then solicit
inputs from various professional experts on golf course renovation and maintenance.
These experts will include, but not be limited to Western Golf Properties, the City of
Louisville Staff and other golf industry experts. This will allow us to validate the
requirements, identify and verify the proposed solution and provide some idea of
implementation cost prior to creating recommendations to present to Louisville City
Council.
Coal Creek Golf Course Strategic Requirements - GCAB 6
2/22/2011
