have been combined because of duplication. We received a lot of overlap in ideas for
improvement which indicates that we have some degree of consensus from golfers, WGP
and citizens.
Input was received from:
Coal Creek Men’s Golf Association
Ladies Golf League
Strokers Men’s League
Several golfers and citizens
GCAB members
Western Golf Properties
9.0 Explanation of Topic Codes
In the following spreadsheet there are several things that need to be explained. The topic
code in column A of the spreadsheet is an arbitrary coding to enable us to sort the
requirements into groups of similar areas of concern. The number assigned to each input
in column B is just a numerical sequence based on when the input was received. There is
no other value assigned to that sequence. The file is sorted based on column A first and
then column B.
The following are the keys to the coding:
AD - Administration includes upgrade to the phone system, networking, computer
upgrades, mobile devices, portable credit card swipes.
CE - Carts & Equipment includes water on the course; GPS in carts, rental hand held
GPS and benches on some tee boxes for those golfers who walk.
CH - Club House includes renovation, landscaping, augment parking, replacement
enclosing pavilion and relocating club house.
CL - Course Layout / Design includes total redesign/renovation study and some golf hole
renumbering.
CM - Catering & Meals includes contracting with a concession vendor, partnering with
restaurateur and catering events at the club house.
CN - Constituencies is a very broad category of groups of people that we believe the golf
course needs to engage with more aggressively in order to grow the number of new
and to build a very strong constituency
golfers in the future to sustain paid rounds of golf
that will support golf course needs and major capital funding in the future.
These include
but are not limited to:
Chamber of Commerce
Coal Creek Golf Course Strategic Requirements - GCAB 8
2/22/2011
