<br />be screened by means of plant materials, earth mounding, architectural <br />screens or siting so as to provide visual and aural separation bet- <br />ween these elements and ,adjacent property. Screening shall not <br />exceed six (6) feet in height except as follows: <br /> <br />(A) Salvage junk yards shall be screened with an eight (8) foot <br />high opaque solid fence or earth mounding so as to provide <br />visual and aural separation between such use and adjacent areas. <br /> <br />Section 14. Section 4-112, Louisville Zoning Ordinance, is <br />amended to read: <br /> <br />4-112. Fences, Walls and Hedges <br /> <br />Fences, walls and Ihedges shall be permitted only as follo~Js: <br /> <br />(A) No fence, wall or hedge shall exceed six (6) feet in height <br />except as required for: <br />(1) Screening <br />(2) Recreational purposes as approved by the Planning Cormnission <br />(3) Unique security requirements as approved by the Planning <br />Commission <br /> <br />(8) No private fence, wall or hedge shall be located on or <br />obstruct public property including street right-of-way. <br /> <br />(C) No fence less than eighty percent open, wall or hedge located <br />in a required front yard or vision clearance area shall exceed <br />two and one-hialf (2.5) feet in height. <br /> <br />(0) Fences at least eighty percent open located in a required front <br />yard or vision clearance apea shall not exceed four feet in <br />hei ght. <br /> <br />Section 15. Article 4, Louisville Zoning Ordinance, is <br />amended with the addition of three new Sections to read: <br /> <br />Section 4-120. Temporary Uses Permit'" <br /> <br />The following uses of land are permitted in each zoning district <br />(unless restricted to particular zoning districts) subject to <br />the specific regulations and time limits which follow, and to <br />the other applicable regulations of the district in which the use <br />is permitted: <br /> <br />(A) Christmas trele sales in any nonresidential district for a <br />peri od not to exceled forty-fi ve (45) days.
