<br />"The City Council may approve a permit to allow a <br />development in a Designated Area or activity of <br />State interest if the proposed development com- <br />plies with the requirements of Chapter 80 ~ 106-7 <br />et. seq. (1974) Colorado Session Laws 336 and this <br />Article. In geologic hazard areas, all developments <br />shall be engineered and administered in ~ manner <br />that will minimize significant hazards to public <br />health and safety or to property due to a geologic <br />hazard." <br /> <br />Section 9. Section }j-lOS(D) of the Louisville <br />Zoning Ordinance as adopted in Ordinance No. 48S is hereby <br />repealed and the following section is hereby adopted to <br />replace the same: <br /> <br />"Section l3-l0S(D). An application for a Geologic <br />Hazard Area Development permit shall include: <br /> <br />(1) An Index 1l.:1ap showing the general location of <br />the permit area and its relation to the surrounding <br />area. <br /> <br />(2) The following specific information or data as <br />applicable: <br /> <br />(a) Pertinent historic, geologic and hydrologic <br />factors of the area. <br /> <br />(b) Past occurrences of known ground subsidence. <br /> <br />(c) In areas of underground mining, available <br />data regarding air shafts, haulage ways, adits, <br />faults, rooms and pillars and final mine maps. <br /> <br />(d) Interval between the ground surface and <br />the location of void space or materials subject <br />to volume decrE!ase. <br /> <br />(e) Amount of material removed or materials <br />subject to volume decrease. <br /> <br />(f) Logs of wells which were spaced according <br />to the geologic conditions of the site and char- <br />acter of the surface land use. <br /> <br />(g) In wind deposited silt (loess) areas and <br />areas of predominantly fine-grained soils, the degreee <br />of wetting the area is subjected to and its effect. <br /> <br />(h) Building type, lOcation, arrangement <br />and proportion. <br /> <br />(i) Summary of the above information on a <br />map of an appropriate scale, but in no event less <br />than one (1) inch equals two hundred (200) feet, <br />with accurate topographic detail. <br /> <br />(j) A report which presents the necessary <br />explanatory text, data tabulation, and other ess- <br />ential information including indentification of <br />the techniques and procedures which will be emp- <br />loyed to meet the objectives of this Article, <br />estimated cost and documentation of previous <br />effectiveness of such techniques and procedures. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
