Section 21. Section 6-106 of the Louisville Zoning Ordinance
is amended to read as follows:

"Section 6-106. PUD-l Planned Industrial District
The PUD-I District is created to provide for the develop-
ment of planned industrial areas. It is intended to pro-
mote the grouping of diversified industrial uses in such
a manner that the benefits of industrial development
are maximized while the adverse impact often associated
with such development (pollution, traffic congestion,
public utility demands) is minimized.

A. Industrial areas over two acres must be developed
as PUD-I. Uses permitted by right or by special
review in the underlying zoning district are
permitted in the PUD-l District.

B. To achieve flexibility essential to industrial
development Items 3 and 5 of Section 6-113(B)
shall not be applicable to the PUD-I and Items
6,7,8,9 and 10 of Section 6-113 (8) may be
graphically portrayed on the Development Plan
Map in a general manner and controlled by notes
specifying standards to be followed in develop-
ment. The graphic portrayal shall not be
subject to Section 6-116, Amendments to the
Final Plan.

Section 22. The first sentence of Section 6-107 of the Louisville
Zoning Ordinance is amended to read as follows and Section 6-107 (A),
6-107(B), 6-107(C) and 6-107(F) are amended to read as follows:

"Section 6-107. Standards
The following provisions apply to planned unit development districts:

(A) Open Space in addition to the Public Use Dedications
specified in the Louisville Subdivision Regulations
may be required by the City Council upon recommenda-
tion by the Planning Commission. The requirement
for additional open space will be based on the follow-
ing factors:

(1) Comprehe~nsive Development Plan (including matters
of State interest);

(2) Topography, drainage, vegetation and other such
physical conditions;

(3) Anticipated socio-economic conditions;

(4) Type and density of development and employment;

(5) Overall need for open space and recreational facilities.

Such open space shall be owned and maintained as common
open space by the developer or an organization established
for the ownership and maintenance of common open space
unless the City accepts dedication of the open space
through mutual agreement between the developer or organi-
zation and thE!
